The Wonder Years
Born in New Mexico in the 1950s, and adopted at birth,
Star was raised Catholic and attended Catholic school.
She only met her birth family in 2019 and traced her ethnic lineage.
She found out she is Native American and Spanish/Basque and Levant.
Adulting
Star was married and divorced and became a single mother with no means of child support. She began reading Tarot cards for neighbors and friends to supplement her income from waitressing in a restaurant across from the University of New Mexico.
The students would tell her what a great school it was so at 31 decided to start college. Seven years later Star received her Master's Degrees in Education and Fine Arts.
She taught adult and childrens acting classes in Albuquerque, New Mexico
and High School History and Literature in El Paso, Texas
Star moved to California in 1996.
In addition to her studies her extracurricular activities included acting in theatre productions singing in rock bands
and participating in anti-war demonstrations.
She is Hindu/Buddhist and a pacifist.
